What's your future dream-job?

Dream job is kind of job where you can enjoy it without feel like you are in working time. You are doing a fun things, things that make you happy, feels like in holiday, without get any pressure, but you are paid for it! Sounds awesome, isn’t it?

For me, there are many dream jobs which I really into it. But sadly, all of those is far away from my major’s track. I know, some of you must be wondering why you choose that major if your heart is not in there? And as I always answer to the others, maybe you can call me as a trapped’s victim. I’m trapped by the idea of you-have-to-get-your-degree-in-engineering-unless-you-want-to-be-a-tramp. That’s my parents thought. And I know them so well, I know that they just want the best for me, and their thought is not wrong. Though, sometimes I feel like not full of heart in doing this kind of work, but I’m trying. And even you don’t like it, I believe if you push yourself to do that with give all of your effort, you still can make it. You can look me, as a true story. Even this major is not my thing. I never know at all or even care about oil and gas thing or something inside the earth. But because I’ve in it, and I can’t just turn back, so I tried to learn, even I don’t like it at all. Many thank’s God, I can make it with an excellent grade. The CL title, yeah I got it.

But after that, what should I do? I always haunted by my dream job. In the other hand, I don’t want to waste my degree. So I decided to still on my major’s track for a couple years, and after that, when I’m not strong enough again to pass it, that’s maybe the time for me to pursue my another dream.

I ever read about quotes “Do what you love, Love what you do”. That quotes is really make you confused, isn’t it? Those quotes contains two very different things.

Do what you love means “Please oh my dear, just find your passion, and do it! So you can get your happy life”.

Love what you do means “Please oh my dear, shut your mouth and stop complain, you have to try to enjoy your work and do your best, so in the end you will find your passion in it. You know, passion is something that can be grown”

Because yes, in other hand, you have to make a living, so instead of choose something that maybe not really give you a high income, you have to stick in others that clearly can give you earnings. But sometimes you feel envy with success people, who follow their passion, then succeed, and happy.

Complex, isn’t it?

So, maybe you have to start your future plan.

“What will you want to be if someday you feel like stuck and run out of your verve in doing all of these?”
